Recently Fiat type 500 cabriolet market for Japan, the Italian car manufacturer now make another breakthrough.

Still with 500 models, they got the green light to produce 4-door hatchback version. This car will be marketed to Europe end of 2011. Meanwhile, for the American market is also expected in the same year, only marketing through Chrysler dealers. Judging from the shape, the Fiat 500 will compete hatchback small MPV like the Opel Meriva and the Scion xD. One hopes that the new Fiat later more powerful, given the platform, the weight and larger dimensions. Fiat CEO Sergio Marchionne will announce a five-year plan of Fiat. Including the arrival of the Fiat 500 hatchback that has been approved by the group within the LO production code. While in Europe, the car was categorized as a small minivan.
