Vehicle cost is actually MUCH lower than those of other new hybrids with Nissan’s dealer and customer incentives (this can be up to $7,500). Fuel economy is great for a mid-sized (close to full-size) car but well below other hybrids (except for the SUV hybrids, of course). The car has amazing power for a hybrid (reportedly even accelerates faster than it’s own non-hybrid counterpart). The standard feature set is amazing as well – keyless ignition, keyless entry, security system, 6-speaker AM/FM/CD Radio, eCVT transmission, etc. Although I have heard some complain about how they don’t want all that stuff – well, they can get another car. Reliability is an issue.

Nissan does not have the reputation of Honda or Toyota (though Toyota does not have this reputation lately either). I could never find any meaningful statistics or trends regarding problems with Nissan vehicles though.

Beautiful and efficient jack once you figure it out. really multiplies the force so you can lift the car smoothly and easily.we call rallye and they imply, no state that there is no warranty on tires unless we payed extra and bought theirs. then i find a disc that came with the car stating that the tires are warrantied by the manufacturer i call them back quoting the disc chapter and verse. now they admit that i may have a warranty so i take it to them.

They charge me $300 for a new tire because they say road hazards are not covered. 4 x in the shop in 2 months for engine malfunction / reduced power light. Still not fixed – lack of empathy from BMW customer service is unbelievable for such a high level brand.

The hybrid is way underpowered. The electric motor does not move the car, the gas engine does, so why call it a hybrid. We bought it for city driving (34mpg) it does better on a trip, but like the airlines, one carry on per person, if you max out the load limit 750 lbs it get less than 35 on a trip.
